Let’s face it, sometimes people simply forget they have an invoice to pay. Providing a friendly reminder is a great of getting your invoice back to the top of the pile of your customers to-do list. With PaymentBear’s automated reminders, you no longer need to do the chasing yourself; we’ll send friendly reminders for you at your chosen frequency.
You can schedule your auto reminders from the Details page when creating an invoice. Here you will see if you have any auto reminders actively applied and the frequency of the active schedule. To access the auto reminders page, simply press the auto reminders button.
Applying an automated reminder schedule
To apply an automated reminder for the first time, use the following steps:
1. Click the toggle to activate auto reminders;
2. Optionally you can add a personal message to the reminder email (see below);
3. Select the frequency you would like the reminders to be sent at; finally,
4. Press the confirm button to save your changes.
Adding a personalised message
You can also introduce a personal message into the reminder emails:
1. Activate an auto reminder schedule using the toggle;
2. Press the personal message button;
3. Enter your personal message to be included in the reminder email;
4. Optionally, you can edit the destination email address and/or CC yourself into the reminders; finally,
5. Press the confirm button to save your changes.
You may also wish to send ad hoc messages (aka ‘Quick Reminder’) – you can easily do this from the invoice page in your Payment Bear app.
